Imagine if you will... a fine day in March 2020. Collecting your sewing supplies, packing your cruise gear, and prepping for a Caribbean adventure! This will be me. And can be you too!!

Join me and two other wonderful teachers on the Stitchin' Heaven sponsored quilting cruise from March 28th to April 4th, 2020! We will board the amazing Symphony of the Seas by Royal Caribbean, to sew, learn, laugh, eat, and simply get away.

These cruises are the best! I am already so excited!!! Deb and her staff will take such good care of you, it'll be hard to leave. She turns the ship conference room into our own sewing retreat. She provides the BERNINA sewing machines to use and Oliso irons for your pressing needs (which is a big deal because irons are NOT allowed on a cruise ship!) She has arranged with the cruise ship to allow us to stay in the room all through the night so you could, technically, sew 24/7. Plus, she keeps our group together at dinner in the dining room, offers great demos, gives you wonderful swag, and works hard to show you a great time.

There are three classroom days and three port days. During the classroom days, one of the three teachers will come to your room to give you instruction on a different project. The subsequent classroom days, you get a different teacher. That means, you get to set up your space once and the instructors come to you.

My project is the fantastic Radiant quilt! Easy, fun, and very satisfying. You can see the other projects here.

And the other teachers are amazing: Helen Robinson of Sew Kind of Wonderful and my good friend Jackie Kunkel of Canton Village Quilt Works.

And now, Stitchin Heaven is offering Four Saves More.... A group of four or more quilters get a $200 per person discount! Mention this when you register

Read all about it here and when you register, please mention my name! Say you are with the Cozy group and they'll keep us all together!!!

More about the cruise.

Reasons to take a quilt cruise.

We will sail on the amazing Symphony of the Seas - this class of ship is so awesome National Geographic channel did a documentary on its making! It is the biggest and boldest and is consistently awarded Best Ship year after year by Travel Weekly readers.

Day 1- Miami

Because it's so close to the Caribbean and The Bahamas, Miami is known as the cruise capital of the world. But it's more than just convenient - rev up for your cruise from Miami with the city's nonstop action, from party-ready South Beach to the Mediterranean style of Coral Gables, plus spicy Little Havana, which hums to an island beat

Day 2- Cruising

Day 3- Roatan, Honduras

Roatan welcomes divers and snorkelers eager to explore the thriving coral reef. Boaters, beachgoers, and water-sports fans enjoy the sparkling seas, too. The island also has a multicultural population, some descended from pirates. Visit the Caribbean's largest barrier reef, the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. Lying just offshore, it's a favorite spot for divers and snorkelers to see colorful corals and an amazing array of marine life.

Day 4- Puerto Costa Maya

Since there are only 2 sea days on this itinerary, we will be offering a quilting class while we are in port. Feel free to go ashore at lunch or finish class early to see the port.

Day 5- Cozumel

Cozumel features great diving, snorkeling and beaches, marine-life encounters, botanical gardens, trails and shopping in the town of San Miguel. The nearby mainland is home to Tulum, Mayan cliff side ruins overlooking the Caribbean. Don't miss the opportunity to explore the ruins of the ancient Mayan city of Tulum, majestically perched above the turquoise Caribbean. The site was occupied as far back as 600 A.D. However, it was most densely populated around 1200 A.D. You will be struck by the pyramid-shaped El Castillo, which dominates the city from atop a forty-foot cliff. The nearby Temple of the Descending God provides equally excellent insight into the architecture of the Mayan people, who gained considerable achievements in the arts and sciences, only to decline and vanish for no apparent reason.

Day 6- Cruising

Day 7- Perfect Day at CocoCay

This Royal Caribbean private island is a Bahamian paradise. Perfect Day at CocoCay- is packed with first of their kind thrills and one of a kind ways to chill - only on Royal Caribbean. Features include, Thrill Waterpark, Coco Beach Club, Oasis Lagoon, Captain Jack's, Splashaway Bay, and more -- plus nature walks, beaches and plenty of spots to relax and recharge.
