This stunning quilt kit is one of the inaugural projects from Riley Blake’s batik fabrics. Featuring the strips from the Farmer’s Market collection, this is as simple as it is stunning!

Daniela describes this project:

I wanted to create a quilt design that was both simple to make AND offered movement with shaded values of color. The aptly named Color Falls did just that, providing a striking bargello effect with mirroring blocks that give it movement and style.

The piecing technique is easy! The hardest part of this quilt is collecting groups of fabrics to create the graduating color effect—especially in a 2 ½” strip bundle. Then came Farmer’s Market! You can perfectly sort and arrange this beautiful strip bundle into the grouping needed to let this pattern live up to its name:  like a waterfall of color.
