Honoring Commander "Chadwick" Martin:
Young R. Martin enlisted in the US Navy 40 years ago, and embarked upon the hard road of officer training after 10 years of service. Most officers in training do not bring the experience that Martin had, so they nicknamed him Pins & Ribbons, as the medals and ribbons on his uniform illustrated the experience of his enlisted years.
